Featuring Christmas music in the second half, the College of the Mainland Community Jazz Ensemble held a concert on December 13, 2022 at Stuttgarden Tavern’s Oktoberfest Hall in Texas City, TX. The ensemble is directed by Sparky Koerner.

Under the direction of Sparky Koerner, the College of the Mainland Community Jazz Ensemble held a concert on October 25, 2022 at the COM LRC Auditorium in Texas City, TX.

Under the direction of Dr. Charles A. Johnson, Clear Lake Symphony held a concert on October 21, 2022 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Nassau Bay, TX. Guests Dr. Joe Pouzar (accordion) and Carole Pouzar Overturf (flute) performed Astor Piazzolla’s Double Concerto Hommage à Liège.

Under the direction of Robert F. Wall, Clear Lake Symphony held a concert on September 16, 2022 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Nassau Bay, TX. The premiere of Michael Kasinger’s “The Long Road Home” was conducted by the composer himself.

Directed by Caitlin Franco, Cutting Edge Performing Arts presented their 2022 dance recital “Icons” on June 5, 2022.
